Welcome to “L'Atelier du Nain” Pottery in Poitou-Charente, France.

The studio is based at the bottom of the garden at our house in La Fond Nain, which literally means “Dwarf’s Bottom”, hence the name of the workshop!

I work from here in the middle of the French countryside, kept company by our dogs, a cat ,some chickens, and a selection of wild lizards that dart about in the sunshine.

I hope you enjoy this site as much as I enjoy my work and my life there.

Returning to my roots, during  the cold and damp winter, where clay and fingers don't mix!, I can now offer commissioned oil portraits with prices starting from 200 euros, also works of original figurative and abstract art for sale.

Bienvenu au site Web "de l'Atelier du Nain" des Poteries dans la Poitou-Charentes, La France.

L'Atelier est situe au fond du jardin à notre maison dans La Fond Nain, qui signifie littéralement "le Bas du Nain", de là le nom de l'atelier!

Je travaille d'ici au milieu de la campagne française, gardée la société par nos chiens, un chaton, des poules et une sélection de lézards sauvages qui se précipitent de dans le soleil.
